After gaining a permanent disablement in 2017, my view of myself changed for the absolute worst. I was terrified to show my 'winged scapula' and kept it covered for 5 years. The thought of ever doing a Boudoir shoot was so far from my mind that I never ever believed I would do it. In December of 2021 I bit the bullet and sent an email to Renee to suss out what the shoot may entail. After an extremely lengthy conversation, and many many tears, I booked in. The shoot was an absolute success. My seizures stayed under control the whole day, I had next to no anxiety at all and then I saw the photos! What once was just a 'winged scapula' became my now known as 'Angel Wings'. I love the confidence that Renee gave me, and love that I have met her. I would 110% encourage EVERYONE to meet this gorgeous human and shoot with her. This shoot changed the way I look at my disability. Thank you Renee.

Renee is absolutely wonderful. Please, if you have even remotely thought about the possibility of doing a boudoir shoot - do it! I booked after having some wild body image problems and thinking “no, it’s time to reclaim ‘me’; to love myself again; and to feel confident in the skin that I’m in. After approximately 24 seconds of nerves passed, I was feeling beautiful, sexy, and confident - 3 words I have not used to describe myself in the last few years. Our time together passed with many giggles, movie quotes, and dancing in the club vibes. In my ‘ordering’ appointment, Renee showed me my images with stretch marks and all, and gave me the choice to keep them in, or edit them out if I wish… but the way she championed my body, it honestly felt wrong to change anything. If someone can make me feel comfortable enough to go from self-hatred to “nah, leave the stretch marks!” within one day, she’s absolutely worth booking in with.

I went into this boudoir shoot not liking myself, feeling unworthy, replaceable, unloveable; and I came out feeling like a queen, empowered, significant, that I am worthy, that I am worth investing in. Renee made me believe that I am a goddess, and that I am "Reina".

"I FELT COMFORTABLE FROM THE VERY FIRST SECOND WE MET"
I have never been completely comfortable in my own skin, body confidence just wasn't my friend. It didn't matter what I looked like, what my friends and family, even strangers would tell me, I wouldn't see it, I couldn't see it. I didn't enjoy getting my photo taken or looking in mirrors; my reflection would just be there, taunting me.
Slowly I have been crawling my way to body acceptance and doing this was one amazing step, heck, LEAP in that process. Are there pictures I look at in this beautiful gallery and still see all my flaws? Absolutely. But there are pictures that I can't even believe are me and how beautiful, sensual, and just down right amazing I look.
If you are thinking about taking the leap and getting some boudoir photos, do it, stop thinking about it and book it in! Renee is just gorgeous and clearly amazing at her work.

Ohhhh hey! I’m Renee, I’m 29. I’m a self confessed creative nerd, a huge self love advocate, a recording artist who writes and records country music in my spare time, and most importantly, I'm a mum.
I've been working as a professional photographer, educator, and mentor for over 10 years now. I have been running my boudoir studio for 5 years. And I also run a separate business doing family, motherhood, and newborn sessions too. Photography is so incredibly powerful, and special for so many reasons, (and I am so lucky, and so grateful to be able to do this full time to support my little family).
When I’m not here helping other women just like me, find their spark again, you’ll find me with my little one playing in the garden, writing and recording music, or patting my numerous fur children, and watching clueless for the 326th time whilst eating my body weight in my favourite foods.
I am all about being real, embracing who you are, and loving life. I put so much of my heart and soul into every experience. I want every person who steps through my studio doors to leave feeling like they have "found themselves" and reclaimed who they are.
We all deserve that as women. Too often we lose ourselves in the craziness of life, and it's so important that we are found, loved, and celebrated for everything that we are. Inside, and out.

When you walk into my studio, you are walking into an inclusive space. No matter where you are from in the world, what gender you are, what you do for work, what body transformations you have been through or may currently be going through, no matter what marks of bravery you may carry with you, physically or emotionally. You are always welcome, and you are celebrated for who you are, and all of the unique things that make you the person you are.
Having a boudoir session is one of the most amazing experiences ever. These sessions help us to see ourselves from a whole new perspective, teach us to love ourselves and the skin we're in, and make a pretty amazing gift to ourselves, or to someone special.
